Kittens of Cascade Mountain

We are located in Vancouver, Washington – just a quick 20 minute drive north of Portland Oregon.

We carefully breed to produce kittens that are healthy, have great personality, and are affectionate.

In taking steps towards producing the healthiest kittens possible, all our breeding cats are screened by a board certified cardiologist and must be found free of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy* (HCM), and are genetically tested to be free of the MyBPC3 gene (which can cause HCM), and are radiographed to be free of hip dysplasia.

*Disclaimer: Screening for this disease is currently the recommended method to aid in reducing the incidence of this genetic condition in our cats. Breeders can not guarantee that their cats will not have this condition.

Why is this important? We do this to make sure everything humanly possible was done so you will have a healthy kitten/cat free of cardiac and hip health problems.

We maintain a small cattery, which is our home and have only a few litters each year. Our kittens are raised in a bedroom with plenty of room to run and play. Once their vaccinations are complete they have the run of the house and socialize with the other cats we have. We spend a great deal of time and attention toward socializing our kittens.

IW SGC CascadeMtn Ace O Spades X CH CascadeMtn Run for the Roses joyfully announce their litter born October 2012. They have a blue classic and red classic; both males. And a brown torbie female.

TGC Mainesuspect Yuma of CascadeMtn X CascadeMtn Diamond have three handsome male kittens born October 2012. Brown Classic with White, Red Classic and Cream Classic.

Summer litters of 2012

These two litters were born late summer and grew up together. All are boys.

Parents are IW SGC CascadeMtn Ace O Spades and CH CascadeMtn Run for the Roses (Darby). The litter is named for Olympic Gold Medalist winners for the United States.

Our Previous Litter

This litter of seven were born the beginning of August 2011.

The very proud parents are LA SGC CascadeMtn Deschutes and RW SGC Whatatrill Bella Luna of CascadeMtn.

Bella is a great mom, and loves her kittens. She is so proud of her babies! She has three cream boys: Cream Puff, Coconut and Vanilla Bean. Two blue torbie girls with white: Sparkle, and Moonbeam. Two Blue Classic, a boy named Gunther and a girl named Mouse.

RW SGC CascadeMtn Kona Black Sand of Whatatrill and RW SGC Broadsway Arizona of CascadeMtn had a singleton.

This kitten is reserved. She is making her home with us as a new addition to our cattery. We are so excited to see the brilliant color on this baby.

LA SGC CascadeMtn Deschutes with CH Mainesuspect DolceVie of CascadeMtn have a seven week old litter of brown classic and mackerel kittens, they are proud to announce. The litter is doing well and mom has been busy keeping their tummies full and happy. Now the kittens are eating on their own and playing with pure kitten abandon.

Star’s battle with cancer ended earlier this year, but her memory lives on in the hearts of Tim and Eileen who miss her very much and think of her many times each day.
